TOUR DESCRIPTIONS

LUXOR

WEST BANK: Includes lunch. Visit the Valley of the Kings, which is home to many Pharaonic tombs of the New Kingdom, including those of King Tutankhamen and Ramses the Great. Each King's formal name and title is inscribed in his tomb, which are also adorned with his images and statues. Most of the tombs were cut into the limestone following a similar pattern: three corridors, an antechamber and a sunken sarcophagus chamber.

EAST BANK: visit Hatshepsut Temple and the Colossi of Memnon. Continue to the East Bank where visits are made to the Luxor Temple and the Karnak Temple. The Luxor Temple was built largely by Amenhotep III and Ramses II, the temple served as a setting for the rituals of the festival, which was held to reconcile the human aspect of the ruler with his divine office. The Karnak Temple was erected in 1928 BC as a small shrine dedicated to Amun, god of Thebes. The Temple of Karnak comprises of three main temples, smaller enclosed temples, and several outer temples - all constructed over 1300 years. The three main temples of Mut, Monthu and Amun, are enclosed in enormous brick walls, with the temple of Amun at the center. Karnak is now the largest and oldest temple compound on earth.

ASWAN

NUBIAN VILLIAGE: You will go to the Nubian village where Nubians live on the banks of the Nile,The Nubians are considered the most religious people,They had the belief of the other life, You can see breeding of crocodiles,They are famous for henna drawing. You will also see the Nubian schools and the teaching of the Nubian letters,Then you will go back to the hotel.

HIGH DAM: Built to control the Nile River's annual floods, the Aswan High Dam transformed Egypt's Nile Valley and created the vast Lake Nasser. The sheer scale of the dam is impressive, and at the top, you'll find sweeping views of the lake and surrounding desert. Short tours of the Aswan High Dam include stops at viewpoints and information on the dam's construction. Since the dam is on the way from Aswan to the Temple of Isis at Philae, many tours visit both attractions. The Aswan High Dam was a collaboration between Egypt and the former Soviet Union—on the western end of the dam, you'll find a monument to the two countries' relationship.

CAIRO

NILE RIVER DINNER CRUISE: A cruise along the Nile River is a must for first-time visitors to Egypt and the famous river is even more spectacular by night. Set sail on this 2-hour evening cruise, tuck into a delicious buffet dinner on-board, and be entertained by live music, belly dancing, and a traditional Tanura show.

HALF DAY TOUR of PYRAMIDS and SPHINX: Includes Camel ride and lunch. The Pyramids were reckoned by the Greeks to be one of the Seven Wonders of the World. A single pyramid is built of 2,300,000 blocks, each weighing an average of two and one-half tons. In the face of such immensity, one cannot help but feel the wonder and awe that so many writers and artists have sought to convey over the centuries. The Cheops Pyramid is especially interesting since its interior burial chambers are open for inspection by the public. Not far from the Pyramids is the Great Sphinx of Giza, which dates from the time of Chephren (2620BC). Hewn from natural yellowish limestone and standing 65 feet high by 187 feet long, this unforgettable statue combines the head of a Pharaoh with a lion's body.

EGYPTIAN MUSEUM: We expect the new museum will be open before March 2022. ), the most important depository of Egyptian antiquities anywhere in the world. It features artifacts from the Pharaonic and Graeco Roman periods, including the celebrated mummies of ancient Egypt's kings and King Tutankhamun's treasures. Entry to the mummy's room is included. KHAN EL KHALILI BAZAAR: is a famous bazaar and souq (or souk) in the historic center of Cairo, Egypt. Established as a center of trade in the Mamluk era and named for one of its several historic caravanserais, the bazaar district has since become one of Cairo's main attractions for tourists and Egyptians alike. It is also home to many Egyptian artisans and workshops involved in the production of traditional crafts and souvenirs.
